Scholarship Application

The NFXF International Fragile X Conference is the premier educational event for the Fragile X community.

Providing scholarships is a crucial element of the NFXF's strategic goals. We appreciate the additional support from our NFXF Chapters, Community Partners, and private donors, which allows us to extend the maximum number of scholarships.

Scholarships are made available to assist individuals (parents, self-advocates, siblings, caregivers, or family members) who have not previously attended an NFXF International Fragile X Conference or who might not otherwise be able to attend due to limited financial resources. Depending on the availability of funding, limited scholarships may be available for early career professionals and/or full-time students who are working in or pursuing a career in a Fragile X field.  

You may request consideration for more than one of the following scholarships. Only one (1) scholarship (NFXF Discounted Early-Bird Conference Registration or Arthur S. Mintz Memorial Scholarship) award is allowed per family/household.

NFXF Discounted - Early Bird Conference Registration Scholarship
This Scholarship award includes:
  • Discounted early-bird registration fee ($50/individual)
May request up to two (2) discounted conference registrations per household/family.
Arthur S. Mintz Memorial Scholarship

This Scholarship award includes:

  • Discounted early-bird registration fee ($50/individual) for a self-advocate, parent, or caregiver. 
  • Four (4) nights hotel room/taxes at the Louisville Marriott Downtown (July 15-19, 2026).

May request up to two (2) discounted conference registrations per household/family.

Terms & Conditions

  • Application deadline: February 27, 2026.
  • Notification will be provided by March 20, 2026. 
  • Recipients must register by May 1, 2026. 
  • Only one (1) scholarship (NFXF Discounted Early-Bird Conference Registration or Arthur S. Mintz Memorial Scholarship) award is allowed per family/household.
  • Recipient must reserve and stay at the Louisville Marriott Downtown.

  • All travel, additional hotel expenses, parking, ride share, meals, and miscellaneous expenses are your responsibility.
