NFXF Advocacy Day 2024

Our 20th NFXF Advocacy Day will be February 26- February 27, 2024. 

Thanks to the support from our donors, Community Support Network chapters and community partners, we are excited to extend scholarships up to $500 per advocate. Scholarships are meant to assist individuals, families, self-advocates, or siblings who have not previously attended a NFXF Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C. or advocates who might not otherwise be able to attend due to limited financial resources.

Scholarships sponsors include:

Priority will be given to:

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • First time attendee to the NFXF Advocacy Day in Washington, D. C.

                                        • Self-Advocate and/or siblings.

                                        • Individuals who otherwise might not be able to attend due to limited financial resources.

                                        • States/Congressional Districts without a registered advocate. 

• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Travel/attendee costs including economy airfare, mileage, train ticket, per-diem food, and registration fee.

                                          • One-night hotel (room and taxes) at the Hilton Arlington Towers, the NFXF-contracted hotel.

We recommend reaching out to your local ARC, service coordinators, regional centers or support services in your area to inquire if there are funding options available.
