NFXF Webinar Series: Navigating Challenging Behaviors
Join us as we host a panel discussion with Tracy Stackhouse, MA, OTR/L, Lauren Moskowitz, PhD, Jennifer Epstein, PsyD, and Missy Zolecki all about navigating challenging behaviors.
The webinar will be a one-hour facilitated Q&A session, moderated by Robby Miller. The panelists will discuss challenging behaviors including aggressive behavior in adolescents and adults. Learn how to identify challenging behaviors and safely intervene when they occur. Gain valuable insights and strategies to navigate these situations with confidence and compassion.
This hour-long webinar will help families think about challenging behaviors from different perspectives and the role that parents and caregivers can have in preventing those behaviors, lessening the intensity of a behavior, or, inadvertently, contributing to a behavior.
Please note that this webinar will not include discussion of medication approaches to challenging behaviors – which can play an important role in managing behavior – as this is a topic for parents to discuss with their child’s doctor. Please also note that, due to time limitations and the personal nature of this topic, panelists may not be able to respond to questions about specific individuals or situations.
Participants are encouraged to review Strategies for Addressing Aggressive Behavioral Outbursts | FXS (fragilex.org) in advance of the webinar.
Come prepared with your questions or you may also submit your questions in advance by emailing contact@fragilex.org and during the webinar. We will do our best to answer as many questions as possible.
We look forward to you joining us!
The webinar will be recorded and available to all registrants.
